My journey began one year ago.  I had minor surgery and could not recover.  I was extremely lethargic and had difficulty sleeping.  My GP checked my thyroid and said results were normal.

I am 67 years old and the Doctor said recovery  takes longer when we age.
Dr. Cabeca did extensive lab work and diagnosed adrenal insufficiency and systemic candida.   My treatment was a strict diet and multiple supplements. 

With time my labs returned to normal and and so did my weight (from 192 to 157lbs in 6 months!).  I can’t imagine feeling worse than I did; but without Dr. Cabeca my condition would have deteriorated.  I don’t know where I would be today without her diagnosis and intervention.
