Libby Carter, a Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, joined Dr. Cabeca’s practice in April of 2008. In addition to practicing bio-identical hormone replacement, gynecology, endocrinology, and weight loss resistance, to name a few, she is also our resident expert on adrenal fatigue and candida/yeast overgrowth.
Libby Carter, WHNP, completed her graduate education and training at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia in 1996. Upon completion of her graduate studies and becoming a Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Libby spent 12 years in a public health setting caring for and treating patients in rural under served areas surrounding her home town of Waycross, Georgia.
She has been practicing nursing in the women’s health/OB/Gyn setting since 1993 when she completed her Associates of Science in Nursing Degree at South Georgia College, three years after completing her Associates Degree in Applied Science and Early Childhood Education.
Libby happily hails from Southern Georgia where she was born and raised. She now has the pleasure of raising her daughter in the familiar setting of her own upbringing .
